Let there be Light

I made a light tonight.
After running from lighting shop to electrical shop to hardware shop trying to get advice on how to build some custom lights for my portrait studio that I'm taking 'on the road' for a photography residency, finally some unlikely lad told me if I just grabbed an extension cord, and cut it like so, and inserted it, like so, I would have a light. OH MY - it was if a light went OFF in my head.
That's how it works!!
How does one live this long and not know such simple things. I am now determined to find out how more things work. Maybe plumbing will be next. Soon enough I'll be able to build my own home. Or at least a tree house (which I'm planning). Yay for self empowerment!
This little light is the beginning of what will be quite a novelty DIY lighting set up for my stay in the wheatbelt town, Wickepin. Stay tuned!
Oh yeah, and it was a chance for you to see my in my pjs. And again, I'm not sure if I'm small or Oscar is big.

Plumbing?! Eww. Tree house? Please, hope pics are to come! Glad it´s your PJ´s and nothing you might go jogging with or such! ;-)
I have to admit that my pjs and my jogging gear IS interchangeable.
